An opportunity has arisen to join the Markets & Performance team at Cubico Sustainable Investments as an Automation Analyst for Cubico Spain. Located in Madrid and reporting into the Markets & Performance Manager, this role will be responsible for driving the digitalization and automation of processes within the Markets & Performance team through the use of digital tools, cloud-based solutions and artificial intelligence technologies, with the objective of improving operational efficiency, data quality, and the team's analytical capabilities.

* Experience in process automation and/or digitalization within corporate environments.
* Practical knowledge of automation and data analytics tools (Power Automate, advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar).
* Familiarity with system integration concepts (REST APIs, JSON, connectors).
* Experience or strong interest in the practical application of AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
* Analytical mindset, comfortable working with numerical data and complex processes.




* Ability to understand business processes and transform them into automated solutions.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across different teams.
* Specific knowledge of energy markets is considered an advantage but is not essential and can be developed while performing the role.

Preferred Qualifications

* Engineering degree
* Experience working on similar projects.
* Basic programming knowledge (Python, SQL).
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or similar).
* Previous experience in industries with high operational complexity (energy, infrastructure, finance).
* Knowledge of energy markets.

* Identify and analyse manual processes within the Markets & Performance area that can be automated.
* Design, develop and implement end-to-end solutions using automation tools, data platforms, and cloud environments.
* Integrate internal and external data sources and systems through APIs, connectors and digital solutions.
