Global Category Buyer External Manufacturing

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Responsibilities

- Lead sourcing of goods and services within external manufacturing & supply activities
- Execute and implement contracts and agreements with CDMOs
- Develop and optimize sourcing strategies based on supplier, technology and market intelligence
- Conduct supplier and technology market analysis with benchmarking reviews
- Contribute to the procurement sourcing team and business partners to build innovative category or sub‑category strategies that deliver measurable benefits
- Anticipate and consolidate business needs to develop action plans, negotiate, and facilitate implementation specific to category
- Ensure execution of category sourcing plan in line with general strategy and regional/country needs
- Deliver total savings objectives worldwide
- Maintain procurement technical excellence across TCO, SRM, market intel, risk, innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance and quality
- Manage business reviews with key suppliers as directed by management

Qualifications

- Experience in procurement within regulated markets




- Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Strong financial acumen, able to analyze and interpret financial data
- Preferred knowledge of procurement systems, processes, legal aspects, service level agreements, KPIs
- Data analysis and reporting skills using data tools
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a significant plus

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: €49,600.00 - €74,400.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills and location, and other relevant factors.
