Are you an experienced and strategic HR leader ready to shape the staff experience and contribute to the continued success of a vibrant international school community?
We are seeking an exceptional Head of HR to lead the Human Resources function within our thriving all-through international school, supporting 150+ teaching and administrative staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior HR professional with:
✔️ Strong knowledge of Spanish employment legislation and regulatory requirements
✔️ Excellent English communication skills
✔️ A proactive, collaborative and people-focused approach
✔️ International school experience is highly desirable, though not essential The successful candidate will provide both strategic and operational HR leadership, working closely with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team and external partners to ensure effective, compliant and values-driven HR practices across the school. They will act as a trusted advisor on employment matters, equality, safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance, helping to foster a positive and supportive staff environment.
Key areas of responsibility include:

✔️ Full employee lifecycle management and employee relations
✔️ Professional development and staff learning initiatives
✔️ Attendance management and HR systems
✔️ Employee records and HR administration
✔️ Payroll coordination
✔️ Policy development, implementation and compliance
✔️ Staff wellbeing,
engagement and organisational culture
✔️ HR data, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
