Head of M&A; and Advisory (H/M/X)

About the Role

Manpower Professional Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing international advisory and investment platform to appoint a Head of M&A; & Advisory. This is a unique leadership opportunity for an experienced corporate finance professional looking to play a key role in managing transaction, advisory, asset management, and business planning activities across a diverse portfolio of clients and sectors.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven people leadership skills, overseeing a team of finance professionals while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality advisory mandates and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of M&A; and asset management professionals across Analyst, Associate, Senior Associate, and junior leadership levels, including workload allocation, performance reviews, and career progression planning.
- Review and quality-control financial models (including DCF, three-way, LBO, earn-out, and valuation models), business plans, information memoranda, pitch materials, asset management analyses, and due diligence outputs before escalation to senior stakeholders or external counterparties.
- Oversee the team's pipeline of M&A;, advisory, asset management, and business planning assignments across multiple sectors, including technology, consulting, energy, industrials, financial services, consumer, and foodtech.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the advisory and asset management team and senior leadership




- .Manage external advisory and service mandates, including scope definition, resourcing, delivery management, pricing, client communication, and commercial follow-up.
- Monitor the financial performance of each mandate, ensuring appropriate pricing strategies and resource allocation, while implementing corrective actions where necessary to protect profitability.
- Support the continued expansion of the advisory business by identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the development of new service offerings and market initiatives.
- Lead the development and ongoing refinement of business plans, monitor financial and operational performance against agreed objectives, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external advisors, including legal, accounting, tax, and other professional service providers, to support transaction execution, asset management assignments, and business planning initiatives.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and team development activities as the organisation continues to grow.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on team performance, project status, resourcing, revenue generation,



and overall profitability.

Required Knowledge & Experience
- 8–15 years of relevant professional experience within M&A; Advisory, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Transaction Services, or related sectors.
- Previous experience managing teams and overseeing the execution of complex transactions and advisory projects.
- Prior seniority at VP, Director, Head of, or equivalent level.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, investment processes, and strategic advisory services.
- Proven track record reviewing financial models, valuation analyses, business plans, and due diligence outputs.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating with external legal, accounting, and professional service providers.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial decision-making skills.

Language Requirements
- Fluent or Native English.
