We are looking for a Product Engineer to join the Business Change & Engineering team. This role involves developing new insurance product propositions for a multi‑year transformation program across our European Commercial Insurance markets. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain new insurance products. Gather and assess feedback from customers and stakeholders such as Underwriting, Sales, and Claims to identify product requirements and improvement opportunities. Facilitate change management during new product introduction, ensuring intelligent design and simplification. Prioritize, plan, and execute initiatives with the product and pricing team, evaluate usability, and ensure readiness for business implementation. Develop structured product models tailored to flow for the Lower Middle Market customer segment. Configure products using Xmind and Advanced Product Designer, with Guidewire as the supporting technology suite. Conduct analyses of competitors’ products and pricing strategies to inform market positioning; maintain knowledge of industry trends and product lines.

Required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in product development, OR high school diploma with strong experience in the area. Knowledge of property, casualty, and specialty insurance underwriting.



Familiarity with underwriting function guidelines, practices, and governance controls. Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in product development. Comprehensive understanding of sales and distribution channels. Working knowledge of insurance software packages, particularly Guidewire, Xmind, and APD. Ability to build and maintain collaborative professional relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven project and time management abilities. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated expertise in change management. Benefits
