Internal Auditor – Large Retail Group | Madrid, Spain
Noord Integral are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our client’s audit team in Madrid. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced external auditor with retail/consumer goods/manufacturing client exposure to step into a global internal audit role within a recognisable retail brand.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead operational, financial, and compliance reviews across the group’s European footprint—building a real-world understanding of how retail functions from the inside out.
- Evaluate internal controls, flag potential risks, and suggest practical improvements that make a genuine difference to how the business runs
- Connect with audit colleagues in other regions, share insights, and help shape a consistent global approach
- Turn audit findings into clear, actionable recommendations—communicating with confidence to stakeholders at every level
- Stay tuned into retail trends and regulatory shifts, helping the team stay informed and ahead of the curve.
What you’ll bring
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
- 4–6 years’ external audit experience, with exposure to the retail, consumer goods or manufacturing industries
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk frameworks
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- A collaborative mindset and a clear communicator
