Overview A integral market‑leading industrial organisation is seeking an experienced Internal Audit & Data Analytics Manager to lead and drive its Internal Audit and Analytics function across Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the organisation's data‑driven audit capabilities, enhancing risk assurance activities, and building a best‑in‑class audit analytics function that delivers strategic business insights across multiple European operations. Managing a team of two direct reports from day one, the candidate will also play a key role in expanding the function, developing talent, and embedding innovative audit methodologies across the business.

Responsibilities Lead the Internal Audit and Data Analytics function across Europe, delivering high‑quality assurance activities across multiple business units and jurisdictions. Develop and execute risk‑based audit plans aligned with organisational objectives and emerging business risks. Drive the integration of data analytics throughout the audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork through to reporting and continuous monitoring.

Design and implement automated audit testing and continuous auditing solutions. Develop and maintain executive‑level dashboards, reports, and visualisations to provide meaningful business and risk insights. Utilise advanced analytics to identify trends, anomalies, control weaknesses, and operational improvement opportunities.

Partner with Finance, IT, Compliance, Operations,



and senior leadership teams to strengthen governance and control frameworks. Lead operational, financial, compliance, and technology‑focused audits across the European region. Manage, mentor, and develop two direct reports while supporting future team growth and capability development.

Drive innovation and best practice within audit analytics, automation, and digital assurance initiatives. Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior stakeholders and executive management.

Qualifications 6–11 years of experience within Internal Audit, Risk Assurance, Audit Analytics, or related fields.

Experience working within a large multinational or complex international business environment. Demonstrated experience leading audit engagements and managing stakeholder relationships at senior level. Previous people management experience with the ability to coach, develop, and grow high‑performing teams.

Proven ability to implement data‑driven auditing techniques and continuous monitoring programmes. Advanced experience working with SAP and extracting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets. Strong expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modelling, visualisation, and executive reporting.

Experience building and maintaining audit analytics solutions and KPI dashboards. Strong knowledge of ERP environments, including SAP and other enterprise systems. Hands‑on experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Alteryx, ACL, IDEA, Tableau, Python, or similar technologies. Strong understanding of data governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.

Experience supporting digital transformation and automation initiatives within audit functions.
