About the Role We are looking for an
International Trade Analyst to join our Supply Chain team and support the execution, control, and compliance of all import and export operations.
This role will be critical in ensuring smooth international flows, customs compliance, shipment visibility, and operational coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
The person in this role will help strengthen process control, reduce regulatory risks, and support the scalability of Birdman’s international operations in an increasingly complex trade environment.
Impact & Ownership
Ensure compliant and efficient import/export operations
Support customs and regulatory compliance across international shipments
Improve visibility and tracking of international logistics operations
Reduce operational and regulatory risks related to customs documentation and trade compliance
Support optimization of international freight and landed costs
Strengthen operational control and process standardization across cross-border operations
Responsibilities
Manage and review import/export documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
Support and follow up on customs requirements, including Manifestación de Valor Electrónica (MVE)
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers
Track international shipments from origin to customs clearance
Monitor import/export timelines and proactively resolve delays or operational risks
Analyze import/export costs and identify optimization opportunities
Support HS/HTS classification and customs compliance processes
Maintain updated documentation and trade records
Generate operational reports and update international trade KPIs
Identify risks and propose process improvements across international logistics operations
Experience
2-4 years of experience in international trade, import/export operations, or customs compliance
Experience managing international shipment documentation and customs coordination
Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers
Experience using ERP systems and Excel for operational tracking and analysis
Skills
Strong organizational and documentation control skills

Advanced Excel
ERP systems knowledge
Strong follow-up and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Education
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Languages
Intermediate to advanced English
Nice to Have
Experience supporting U.S., Canada, or China import/export operations
Knowledge of HS/HTS classification, Incoterms, and tariff structures
Familiarity with trade compliance programs and customs audits
Experience optimizing freight, duties, or landed cost structures
Experience in manufacturing, CPG, or high-growth operational environments
Knowledge of USMCA and international trade agreements
