Our client is a global leader in mobility and financial services providing innovative banking, insurance, and leasing solutions across international markets, and they are currently seeking a dynamic IT Manager to take full ownership of their technology ecosystem at their key hub in Alcobendas, Spain; in this impactful role, you will shape IT strategy, manage multi-million euro operational budgets, and guide a team of talented professionals to ensure seamless system performance and continuous innovation

Main Responsibilities

- Formulate and implement overarching IT strategies, standards, and methodologies in alignment with executive leadership and international headquartersDirect the end-to-end design, execution, and continuous optimization of key software applications and business support systems
- Oversee daily technical processes across mainframes, servers, microcomputing, and communications networks to maintain maximum uptime
- Manage a substantial annual IT budget ranging from 32 to 37 million euros, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control
- Evaluate internal user requests and prioritize application feature upgrades to drive operational efficiency
- Lead and mentor a direct team of 7 key managers while providing overall leadership for a total division of 55 IT specialists
- Research and adopt emerging marketplace technologies to future-proof core digital systems
- Ensure full compliance with internal governance frameworks, group mandates, and national or international financial regulations
- Participate actively as a member of the Operational Control Committee to support risk management and auditing efforts

Core Skills/Experience





- Advanced university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline
- Proven track record in executive IT management, leading complex technical projects and multi-million euro budgets
- Strong leadership capacity with demonstrated success managing direct reports and larger multidisciplinary teams
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency (C1 level) for fluid communication with general decision-makers
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, HOST systems, network security, and enterprise software lifecycle management
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management capabilities
