We are seeking an ambitious Junior Development Manager Support to join the Urban Input Hospitality (UIH) team and support the delivery of some of Spain's most exciting hospitality developments. The team manages several high‑profile hospitality developments (approximately €400m GDV) and intends to grow the portfolio in 2026. The role involves supporting the development management team across the administrative, financial, operational and reporting aspects of multiple hospitality development projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with the development management team and broader project teams to ensure the efficient coordination, administration and reporting of all assigned projects.
Project / Development Management
Maintain regular contact with the project management team to understand progress and prepare the necessary documentation.
Review budgets and contracts; monitor payments and invoicing against the approved budget.
Manage invoicing: issuance and receipt of invoices, confirmation of approval by responsible parties, and entry into the system (Cost Control, etc.).
Support financial reporting (accounting system), budget tracking, and deviation analysis.
Assist the project manager with documentation, meeting organization, planning, budget control, and time management.
Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions.
Assist with tendering processes, including RFP compilation and bidder query tracking.
Occasional on‑site travel.
Over time, attend selected meetings with key stakeholders such as architects, consultants, hotel operators and other project stakeholders to support the development management team and gain exposure to the development process.
Project Reporting & Documentation
Prepare monthly reports (including financial, technical, and project progress sections),
as well as quarterly and/or ad‑hoc reporting to investors.
The position requires advanced PowerPoint skills and high‑level presentation capabilities.
Maintain organized project files, digital archives, and shared platforms (including brand standards, technical manuals, and consultant submissions and project correspondence) to ensure information is easily accessible and up to date.
Contribute to internal presentations for investment committees or management reviews.
Create template documentation as needed.
Maintain consultant contact lists.
Monitor document issue registers.
Coordinate electronic filing and version control.
General Responsibilities
Ensure high standards of organization, accuracy, and timely follow‑up across all development and asset management projects.
Foster positive working relationships with hotel operators, consultants, and internal teams.
Uphold brand and operational standards across all assigned tasks.
Assist with meeting logistics.
What are we looking for
Minimum 1–3 years of direct experience in real estate development, project management, construction consultancy, hospitality development or a related field. Any technical/engineering experience is a plus.
University degree in a relevant field (architecture, engineering, finance, real estate, etc.); ideally a technical‑financial profile.
Advanced level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Highly organized, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail needed.
Strong command of Excel and financial models (Power BI knowledge is a plus), PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to handle confidential commercial information with professionalism and discretion.
Comfortable creating presentations for a demanding professional audience.
Strong communication skills.
Urban Planning knowledge is a plus.
Development experience is a plus.
Genuine interest in real estate asset management.
Interest in sustainability trends (ESG).
