Job Summary

Lead day-to-day logistics execution for utility-scale solar projects across European countries, managing door-to-door multimodal shipments—road, ocean, air—to keep flows aligned with project schedules, budgets, and compliance requirements. Coordinate last-mile activities, manage 3PLs and customs brokers, and keep stakeholders informed to deliver on‑time, cost-effective, and compliant movements from suppliers to job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Supply chain coordination – plan, execute, and oversee all logistics activities from suppliers to project sites, ensuring materials align with project schedules.

Control door-to-door flows with a focus on last-mile, including transloading at 3PL warehouses, tautliner road transport, container drayage, and slot arrangements at project sites.

Transportation management – arrange and optimize road/ocean/air shipments to meet delivery deadlines; coordinate last-mile deliveries ensuring stakeholder compliance.

Vendor management – lead day-to-day performance of freight forwarders and customs brokers, ensuring SLA compliance and driving corrective actions.

Compliance & safety – ensure adherence to Incoterms 2020, EU transport regulations, and site HSE requirements; validate shipping documents and coordinate customs clearances.

Communication & reporting – maintain clear, timely updates with internal and external stakeholders; produce daily/weekly status reports and escalations.

Business systems – keep the TMS fully up to date, maintain data accuracy, and use tools such as TMS/Anaplan and advanced Excel for visibility.

Problem‑solving & continuous improvement – proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges, drive improvement opportunities,



and produce project close‑outs and lessons‑learned reports.

Cost & management – monitor budget vs. actuals, highlight deviations, own vendor and lane KPIs, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.

6–8+ years of experience in logistics coordination/operations within industrial, EPC, or energy sectors, ideally involving solar PV projects.

Strong knowledge of EU transportation modes, regulations, and shipping processes (Incoterms® 2020, customs, packaging, etc.).

Proven track record managing end-to-end multimodal transportation (road, ocean, air) across Europe.

Experience coordinating 3PLs, customs brokers, suppliers, and last-mile deliveries to project sites.

Demonstrated ability to manage SLAs, monitor KPIs, and drive vendor performance.

Proficient in TMS, ERP systems, Anaplan, and advanced Microsoft Excel;

experience with OTM is a plus.

Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) required; other European languages are a plus.

Willingness to travel occasionally to sites, ports, warehouses, customers, and suppliers.
