A growing European space technology company developing next-generation electric propulsion systems for satellites is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its engineering team in Madrid. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the development, assembly and testing of precision fluidic systems used within advanced space propulsion hardware. You'll be working on: Precision fluidic and vacuum systems High-integrity tubing, valves, fittings and sealed assemblies Laboratory testing, validation and troubleshooting Handling and characterising sensitive liquids and propellants in controlled environments Improving product reliability and supporting the transition from R&D; into production Working closely with multidisciplinary mechanical, propulsion and systems engineering teams We're looking for engineers with experience in: Laboratory instrumentation and test equipment Pumps, valves,
regulators, pressure control or flow control systems Leak testing, pressure testing and sealed system design Mechanical assembly of high-precision hardware Backgrounds we'd love to see: Space propulsion Scientific instrumentation Analytical instruments Semiconductor equipment Chemical processing equipment Cryogenic or ultra-high vacuum systems Experience with reactive or sensitive liquids , cleanroom environments or high-reliability engineering would be a significant advantage.
