About FIDMAG Research Foundation FIDMAG Research Foundation works to improve the understanding and the treatment of major mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, with the aim of enhancing prevention, recovery and treatment. FIDMAG’s main interest is in the field of psychosis, with particular expertise in the area of neuroimaging and genetics.
Research Focus The focus of our work is the investigation of severe mental disorders, including but not limited to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. We study structural and functional imaging changes in these disorders, and the relationship of such changes to symptoms and cognition.
For this we employ a range of state-of-the-art structural and functional imaging methodologies and techniques.
We also have interests in neuropsychology and genetics in relation to structural and functional imaging changes, and carry out clinical trials.
Eligibility and Requirements a PhD degree at the time of the deadline for applications (09/09/26)
up to 8 years experience in research from the date of the award of the PhD must not have resided or carried out his/her main activities in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior 09/09/2026
