Mission The Network Security Engineer will support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the organization’s network security infrastructure across global on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
Support the design, implementation and enhancements of network security solutions across global on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
Define processes, procedures and guidelines to automate, orchestrate and software‑base networks
Manage and support key security technologies including NGFW, VPN, WAF, NAC, SWG and DNS security solutions
Participate in network security transformation initiatives such as Zero Trust, network segmentation and firewall modernization
Proactively identify weak areas and inefficiencies across network security infrastructures and services
Review and approve technical designs, specifications and statement of work documents
Support deployment, configuration and lifecycle management of network security technologies across on‑premises and cloud environments
Provide L3 support, troubleshoot complex security issues and contribute to vulnerability remediation activities
Support secure connectivity between data centers, branch offices,
cloud environments and third‑party networks
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Architecture and Cybersecurity teams to ensure secure, resilient and compliant network services
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in Network Security, Security Engineering, Network Engineering or Infrastructure Security roles within complex enterprise environments
Hands‑on experience with Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Netskope and F5 WAF technologies
Strong knowledge of NGFW, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF, NAC and cloud‑connected security environments
Experience supporting security modernization initiatives including Zero Trust and network segmentation projects
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish
Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCSA, Fortinet FCP, CCNA/CCNP Security or ITIL are highly valued
