Photonics Software Core Engineer (Junior–Mid) – iPronics (Hybrid) At iPronics, we are growing our Software Core team to support our 2026 technology roadmap and company-wide goals. Our software is a fundamental pillar of our programmable optical circuit switching technology, enabling high-performance, scalable networking for AI and data center infrastructures. We are looking for a Photonics Software Core Engineer (Junior–Mid level) who is excited to work at the intersection of software, photonics, and systems engineering.

What You’ll Do As a Photonics SW Core Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of the core software layers that control iPronics’ optical circuit switch. Participating in the design and development of core software layers controlling the optical circuit switch. Developing software tools to characterize and validate optical circuit switch behavior.

Testing and analyzing software performance at the optical system level. Collaborating closely with other teams to understand and integrate subsystem controllers managed by the core software layer. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field.





Junior to mid-level profiles are welcome.

Experience in software testing practices.

Experience working with optical lab equipment and software orchestration is a plus. Familiarity with TDD / BDD frameworks and software design patterns.
