We are launching a strategic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Future State Transformation program and seek an experienced PLM Solution Architect / Consultant to lead analysis, design, and delivery of a modern, scalable PLM architecture, processes, and technology landscape. The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and implementation partners to assess the current PLM environment, define target-state capabilities, and develop a phased roadmap to deliver an integrated PLM ecosystem that supports long-term business objectives. The role will evaluate modernization options, architecture, integrations, governance, and operating models.

Key Responsibilities Perform a comprehensive review of the existing PLM landscape, including processes, workflows, integrations, data models, master data management, governance, security and compliance, and user experience/adoption. Identify capability gaps, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement in the current platform and supporting systems. Define the target-state PLM vision, solution architecture, and operating model aligned to business strategy.

Produce business and technical architecture artifacts, such as solution designs, capability maps, process models, data architecture, integration architecture, and technology roadmaps. Assess options for modernization, enhancement, replacement, or ecosystem expansion and design scalable PLM capabilities to meet future needs. Business & Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate workshops and requirements sessions with business and IT stakeholders to capture current pain points and future requirements.





Translate business objectives into functional and technical PLM requirements and act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and program sponsors.

Solution Delivery

Provide architectural oversight and governance during delivery of approved initiatives. Collaborate with implementation partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and best practices. Support testing, deployment, change management, and transition activities to achieve successful adoption.

Define integration approaches between PLM and surrounding enterprise systems (ERP, supply chain, PDM, quality, regulatory/compliance platforms, supplier collaboration). Establish data governance, master data management, and migration strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Governance & Roadmap Develop a phased transformation roadmap and support business case and investment planning.

Establish architecture governance, design principles, and decision-making frameworks.

Required Experience 8+ years in PLM consulting, solution architecture, or enterprise transformation roles with demonstrated delivery of PLM solutions and transformation programs.



Proven experience assessing and defining future-state business and technology architectures. Strong domain knowledge in PLM processes, product development and innovation workflows, product specifications/formulation management, regulatory/compliance requirements, and supplier/sourcing processes.

Hands‑on experience with enterprise PLM platforms and ecosystems.

Architecture certification (Country, Archi Mate, or equivalent) preferred; PLM platform certifications are advantageous.

Experience in consumer goods, food & beverage, retail, manufacturing, or regulated industries is beneficial.
