About the role

PROVEN is a fast growing Validation as a Service (VaaS) platform startup that validates professional competencies through peer assessment across 145 roles and 14 job families.

We are looking for a Product Owner who will shape the roadmap of the very platform you will use to apply for this position.

This is a rare opportunity: you will work directly on a product you have already experienced as a candidate, alongside a team that includes one co-author of the Agile Manifesto.

Compensation by location

United States: $110K – $150K USD/year

Spain: €50K – €80K EUR/year

India: ₹2MIO - ₹ 3.5MIO INR/year

What we are looking for

We have defined a competency model and a scoring benchmark in advance. We are not looking for the perfect candidate, we are looking for the candidate who best fits what we have defined. The target score is intentionally not in the 90-100 range: we value real, honest self-assessment over an optimized profile.

Relevant certifications include CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner). Experience working in Agile teams and strong leadership skills are core to the role.

PROVEN is built on the idea that professional value can only be measured honestly. When you go through our validation process, we ask you to be genuine. The scoring is objective and predefined, there is nothing to game, and trying to do so will work against you. The process rewards authenticity.

1. Ask for Peer validation

Your soft skills competencies are validated by peers. PROVEN's scoring model is predefined and objective, we evaluate fit, not perfection. They have maximum 7 days to complete. (max 5 min per peer)
1. Pre-selection review

Shortlisted candidates are contacted based on their PROVEN results.
1. Interviews (1-2 rounds)
