Position overview As the Production Planner, you are a key member of the Supply Chain and Operations team at our Llinars plant. You will contribute to the success of Ball by optimizing production efficiency, cost, and customer service through effective planning and scheduling.
You will be responsible for managing the master production schedule, coordinating cross‑functional planning activities, and ensuring the timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production. You will play a critical role in balancing plant capacity, customer demand, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining the master production schedule in collaboration with Customer Service and Production teams.
Coordinating with internal stakeholders to optimize plant efficiency while maximizing customer service levels.
Managing capacity planning and updating ERP systems to reflect accurate production capabilities.
Monitoring production outputs, changeovers, and performance metrics (OEE/MOD) to improve planning accuracy.
Creating and maintaining bill of materials, routings, and packing specifications for finished goods.
Managing procurement and supply of raw materials (aluminium, coatings, packaging) to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency.
Monitoring stock levels and ensuring alignment with budget targets for raw materials and finished goods.
Managing supplier interactions, including resolution of raw material quality issues.
Supporting logistics processes, including import/export documentation when required.
Ensuring compliance with EHS, ISO/BRC standards, and maintaining accurate planning and system records.
Qualifications
Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (HNC/HND or equivalent preferred).
Experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations is an advantage.
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a drive for results.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; experience with SAP/ERP systems is desirable.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Fluency in Spanish and English.

Job Grade: Integral Grade 9
Hiring Range: 36,000 - 51,000 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks. Depending on these factors, the actual offer may fall above or below the posted range.
Incentive Plan: This position is eligible to participate in Ball’s annual incentive compensation program.
