We are looking for a
Project EHS Specialist to drive and support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities across Eaton’s MED Cluster, based in
Zaragoza . This role plays a key part in ensuring EHS compliance and excellence within strategic projects while supporting the deployment of EHS policies, procedures, and programs at both cluster and country level. The position combines a strong project‑oriented dimension with local operational support, requiring close collaboration with project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to address EHS requirements and ensure adherence to legal and company standards.

What You’ll Do
Promote Eaton’s Life Saving Rules, Zero Incident culture, and Ethics policy across all activities
Ensure full compliance with EHS legal requirements, customer standards, and Eaton MESH guidelines
Act as the main EHS interface with customers, contractors, and external stakeholders
Support deployment of corporate MESH programs across projects and local operations
Manage contractor EHS compliance, including ISN platform oversight, onboarding, and training delivery
Lead EHS incident reporting, escalation, and root cause investigations with corrective/preventive actions
Conduct regular site audits and field EHS inspections to ensure safe operations
Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and partners to promote a safety‑first culture
Projects scope (MED Cluster – 80%)
Ensure EHS documentation compliance (RAMS, safety plans, certifications) through creation, review, and updates
Plan and coordinate EHS activities throughout the full project lifecycle to meet key milestones
Participate in project meetings with customers and internal teams, providing EHS expertise and updates
Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors on project sites
Italy scope (Service & Sales – 20%)
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems
Monitor EHS performance (KPIs,
dashboards) and drive follow‑up on action plans
Deliver EHS communication, awareness campaigns, and training programs at local level
Qualifications
Recognized Health and Safety professional education in Spain (Máster Universitario en PRL)
Advantage: Master/ Engineering degree in a relevant related subject
Advantage: Project management certificate/course
Skills
3+ years of experience in EHS program management within industrial or service project environments
Proven experience in a similar EHS role with strong project management capabilities
Solid knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and corporate frameworks (e.g., MESH)
Expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and EHS performance management
Strong understanding of safety leadership, behavioral safety practices (e.g., coaching, ABC model), and culture development
Subject matter expertise in at least one EHS discipline (Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health, or Systems)
Fluency in Spanish and advanced English; Italian is a plus
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work cross‑functionally, and build strong team collaboration
Proficiency with digital tools (Office 365, Power BI, PowerApps) and a continuous improvement mindset
