Overview In this role you shape technical and commercial proposals for industrial and high‑tech water projects. You collaborate with GCs, EPCs, and internal teams to define scope, prepare cost estimates, and ensure alignment with EPC/EPCM models.

You drive proposal quality and support a smooth handover from bid to execution. You will work in a cross‑functional, international setting, contributing to winning strategic projects. This role offers impact at the intersection of technical rigor and commercial insight.

Responsibilities

Analyze RFQs and technical specifications from General Contractors and EPCs.

Collaborate with CAM/BDM to define deadlines and scope, clarifying responsibilities across process, packages, civils, piping, Eu0026I and construction.

Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines to ensure technical compliance.

Prepare technical narratives, BOQ descriptions, scope clarifications aligned with GC tender frameworks.

Fill detailed Job Costing Tool (JCT) and link to BOQ files for tenders.

Quantify equipment, materials, and services from PFDs, Pu0026IDs, layouts, and tender specs.





Build cost estimates for CAPEX and installation with procurement and engineering.

Ensure BOQs align with GC cost structures and tender forms.

Select technologies and equipment meeting client, GC, and regulatory requirements.

Support risk identification, exclusions, assumptions, and interface management.

Interface with engineering, procurement, finance, and project teams during bid prep.

Act as technical point of contact with General Contractors during clarifications.

Support bid strategy, value engineering options, and alternative solutions when requested.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.

3-5+ years in proposal engineering, tendering, or project engineering for water/industrial projects.

Experience responding to General Contractors / EPCs.

Strong capability in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.

Solid understanding of EPC and EPCM contract models.
