PS Technical Engineer About the role

At Desay SV Automotive Spain, we are looking for an Equipment / Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Linares (Jaén). You will be responsible for ensuring that our new automotive electronics plant operates with maximum efficiency, reliability, and technical compliance. You will manage production machinery, execute preventive maintenance plans, and troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and robotic assembly systems.

This position plays a key role in optimizing equipment utilization, supporting new equipment introduction, and ensuring our manufacturing lines meet the highest automotive standards during customer audits. Main Responsibilities:

Document & Train: Prepare equipment-related documents (operation instructions, checklists) and train the production department on their correct use.

Asset Management: Manage production equipment and auxiliary tooling, handling regular preventive maintenance and equipment disposal.

Process Troubleshooting: Resolve abnormal assembly production issues across manpower, machinery, materials, and methods (4M).

Efficiency Optimization: Improve equipment utilization rates (OEE) and implement plans to optimize production efficiency.

Daily Inspections: Perform equipment changeovers and shift-start inspections for all production machinery.

Audit Support: Support customer audits by addressing equipment maintenance data and related professional inquiries.

New Equipment Introduction:



Assist in the development, introduction, and implementation of new machinery on the assembly lines. Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Control, Electronic Circuits, Robotics, or a related field.

Electrical Skills: Possess basic circuit knowledge with the ability to read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot common electrical issues based on schematics. [1]

Automation Knowledge: Hands-on experience or familiarity with robotic arms (ABB, YAMAHA, Inovance), PLCs (Mitsubishi, Omron), and servo motors (Panasonic).

Process Familiarity: Knowledge of assembly processes including tightening, coating, board cutting, and product testing principles. [1]

Quality Analysis: Ability to assist in in-process product quality analysis and track maintenance implementation status.

Languages: Professional proficiency in English or Chinese for communication with global HQ teams. What we offer
