We are supporting leading contractors, developers, and engineering organisations on data centre projects across more than seven European countries and are expanding our network of experienced QA/QC Engineers for both contract and permanent opportunities.
Responsibilities
Establish and oversee the project Quality Management Plan (QMP) from groundbreaking through to final client handover.
Develop, review, and approve Quality Control procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements for all civil, structural, and MEP works.
Conduct routine site inspections and audits to ensure construction activities align perfectly with approved design drawings, project specifications, and local building codes.
Manage the non-conformance process, including identifying quality issues, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
Coordinate quality checks with external parties, including client representatives, independent third-party inspectors, and equipment vendors.
Compile and verify the final quality handover documentation, ensures all factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and material certifications are meticulously logged.
Deliver clear quality reporting and metrics to project management and stakeholders,
highlighting potential quality risks or trends before they delay the schedule.
Requirements
Previous data centre experience is mandatory.
Proven experience serving as a QA/QC Engineer within mission‑critical or highly regulated, fast‑track engineering environments.
Deep understanding of quality standards, such as ISO 9001, and their practical application on large‑scale construction sites.
Strong technical knowledge of data centre delivery, specifically around the inspection of complex mechanical (HVAC/cooling) and electrical (HV/LV, UPS) systems.
Expertise in document control and specialized quality management software (e.g., BIM 360, Procore, or similar systems).
Exceptional communication and diplomacy skills, with a proven ability to enforce quality standards while maintaining productive relationships with site teams and contractors.
Ability to work across Europe where required.
If you have proven data centre experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
