R&D; Software Engineer (Modern C++ / Instrument Infrastructure)

We are looking for a Senior R&D; Software Engineer (Modern C++ / Instrument Infrastructure) to join a newly formed team in Barcelona, building reusable infrastructure technology used by product teams worldwide.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain high-performance Modern C++ software for hardware control, data acquisition and instrument platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with product architects on infrastructure requirements and system architecture for next-generation instrument platforms.
- Integrate hardware and software components,



ensuring reliable, high-performance operation of complex instrument systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot across the full stack, from register-level interfaces and drivers to application-level software.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams (including a US-based team) across the full development lifecycle.
