Research line / Scientific‑technical services: DIGITAL WORKER Grant/funding period: START: APRIL 01, END: SEPTEMBER 30, Centre of Principal Researcher: POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AT FERROL / COMPUTER SCIENCE FACULTY AT A CORUÑA

Contract will be fixed‑term, in accordance with applicable law.

Work Location and Schedule CEMI UDC FACILITIES – NAVANTIA, Monday to Friday from 9:*:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00. Location: Batallones Building (Ferrol), Spain.

Responsibilities

Investigate and apply blockchain technologies to ensure the integrity, transparency, and security of traceability data relevant to the logistics digital twin.

Develop AI algorithms for anomaly detection, delay prediction and internal logistics optimization.

Integrate IoT sensors at key points of the logistics and production processes, incorporating the latest technologies and solutions previously developed by UDC and Navantia as part of the UMIs and the previous CEMI (e.g., TagWAN and Pallet 5.0).

Enable real‑time integration with subcontractors by providing secure and automated digital channels for sharing logistics,



traceability and planning data.

Validate the developed systems in a real production environment, assessing their impact on operational efficiency and regulatory traceability.

Qualifications To have Spanish nationality or any other nationality which affords equal rights for labor purposes according to state regulations.

To possess the required qualification and meet the rest of the requirements indicated in the call.

To have reached the age of sixteen years and not exceed, if applicable, the maximum age of forced retirement.

To possess the functional capacity necessary to develop the corresponding functions or tasks described in memory.

Not to have been separated by disciplinary record from the service of any public administration or the constitutional or statutory bodies of the autonomous communities, or be in a position of absolute or special disqualification for employment or public office by judicial resolution.

In the event of being a national of another country, the applicant shall be required not to be disqualified or possess an equivalent situation that prevents access to public employment in their country.

Recruitment of foreign persons from non‑EU countries, formalised for the sole purpose of carrying out research or technical tasks, shall require the submission, at signing, of the residence permit and the authorization of work or the accreditation of the concurrence of exception of such authorization, in accordance with Organic Law , of the 11 of January, on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain.

Master degree in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent.
