Position Summary CIDETEC Energy Storage seeks a researcher to join its Energy Materials Unit, supporting several strategic projects and research lines within the Li‑ion batteries group.
Responsibilities
Carry out research and development of lithium‑ion batteries, including electrode and electrolyte formulation optimization, cell design and assembly, physicochemical and electrochemical characterization.
Conduct literature and patent searches to identify new materials, technologies and processes.
Prepare and manage European R&D;&I; projects.
Operate independently following a defined work plan while managing multiple work streams and optimizing resources.
Qualifications
Doctorate, Master’s Degree, or degree in industrial engineering, electro‑chemistry or a related technical field.
More than 3 years of experience in Li‑ion battery research, including electrode processing, cell manufacturing, and electrochemical characterization techniques.
Experience in managing R&D; projects,
especially within European funded programmes; experience in European project management is an added advantage.
High level of written and spoken English.
Observations
