Job Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales strategy across key market segments, including Corporate, Groups, Associations, and Transient business, ensuring the achievement of revenue goals for both the assigned properties and the wider portfolio. This role oversees daily sales activities, builds long-term value-based client relationships, drives profitable business growth, and delivers individual sales targets.
The position also supports the execution of ACHM and Marriott's global distribution strategy, ensuring compliance with Marriott's distribution standards and policies while maximizing revenue opportunities across all sales channels.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Drive proactive sales activities across assigned market segments and properties.
Build penetration plans for strategic accounts and coordinate activities with internal and integral sales teams.
Negotiate contracts, preferred agreements, and commercial partnerships.
Identify emerging market opportunities, including international business where applicable.
Maintain accurate account information, reporting, and sales activities within company systems.
Conduct sales calls, client meetings, property site inspections, and networking activities.
Revenue Performance
Deliver assigned revenue goals and contribute to overall market performance.
Support the achievement of key commercial KPIs, including Revenue, ADR, RevPAR Index, and segment mix.
Participate in market reviews and demand generation planning initiatives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to optimize sales strategies.
Customer & Guest Satisfaction
Foster a customer-centric culture by delivering exceptional service throughout the sales process.
Ensure clear and consistent communication between clients and hotel operations teams.
Provide accurate, timely, and complete information to support service delivery.
Resolve customer issues effectively and collaborate with hotel leadership when necessary.
Contribute to guest satisfaction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance loyalty and market share.
Requirements
Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is highly desirable.
Availability to travel as required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel sales, preferably within an international hotel brand.
Demonstrated success in account management, business development, and revenue generation.
Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and commercial sales environments.
Marriott experience is considered a strong advantage.
