We are looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our Project Controls team and play a key role in driving project success through best-in-class planning, scheduling, forecasting, and performance management.

As a key member of the Project Controls team, you will support project and department leadership by developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules that enable successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules throughout all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Prepare baseline schedules, resource-loaded schedules, execution plans, and recovery schedules as required.
- Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), coding structures, schedule logic, and planning methodologies in accordance with Fluor standards and client requirements.
- Monitor project progress against approved baselines and analyze schedule performance, critical path impacts, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Project Management teams to ensure schedule alignment and accurate progress measurement.
- Facilitate weekly and monthly progress collection, validation, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, milestone tracking reports, schedule forecasts, and executive management dashboards.
- Lead planning and scheduling activities for medium to large capital projects and support multi-project portfolio reporting where required.




- Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation, acceleration, and recovery strategies to support project objectives.
- Support change management processes through schedule impact assessments, delay analysis, and schedule updates.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide planning expertise and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
- Interface effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding schedule status and key planning considerations.
- Support proposal and business development activities through the preparation of execution schedules, staffing forecasts, and planning strategies.
- Develop and maintain project performance metrics, KPIs, productivity measurements, and forecasting tools.
- Maintain accurate project records and historical planning data to support benchmarking and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Fluor Project Controls procedures, project governance requirements, and contractual obligations.

Additional Project Controls Responsibilities

- Support project budgeting and forecasting processes by providing schedule-driven insights.
- Participate in cost and schedule review meetings and contribute to integrated project performance assessments.
- Assist in identifying project deviations and recommend corrective actions to improve project execution.
- Contribute to lessons learned processes and continuous improvement of planning and scheduling practices.

Basic Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management,



Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemicals, Industrial, or EPC/EPCM environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
- Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
- Ability to interpret engineering and construction documentation and drawings.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting medium to large capital projects (>€50M/$50M CAPEX).
- Experience leading planning activities or acting as a Planning Lead, Scheduler Lead, or Project Controls Lead on complex projects.
- Knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis methodologies.
- Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance measurement.
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Professional certification such as PMI-SP, PMP, AACE, or equivalent.
- Experience working in international and multicultural project environments.
