At Basque Culinary Center, we are looking for a Lecturer in Science and Technology to help develop our academic programmes and contribute to research and knowledge transfer projects related to Food Science and Technology.

Your main mission
As a member of our academic team, you will combine teaching with research activities, contributing to initiatives that connect science, the food industry, and gastronomy.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Co-designing and delivering teaching within our Master’s programmes in areas such as food quality, bromatology, instrumental analysis, and other disciplines related to Food Science and Technology.
Designing, developing and implementing tailored training programmes on LMS platforms (Moodle or similar), including the creation of learning content, activities and assessment systems.
Collaborating on research projects within the department.
Requirements
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s Degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.
A PhD in Food Science and Technology or a related discipline.
Teaching experience in either formal or non-formal education.
Experience in projects related to the food industry, gastronomy or culinary sciences.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage groups and build relationships in academic and professional environments.
Experience supervising students in practical and experimental learning environments, such as laboratories.
English proficiency at C1 level for teaching and professional communication.

Have international academic or professional experience.
Have more than five years of teaching experience.
Are able to use Basque as a working language.
