Security Site Manager – Thales CDI, Madrid Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain

Education & Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
Preferred: Experience or certifications aligned with a CISO profile (CISSP, CISA, CISM).
Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
Technical Experience
Proven ability to develop and deploy Crisis Management Plans in international organizations.
In-depth understanding of Security Management principles and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) standards.
A strong grasp of local, national, and international security regulations, including
ISO 27001 implementation.
ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) frameworks.
Experience conducting audits to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
Solid knowledge of IT Security concepts, including
Cybersecurity principles (firewalls, encryption, intrusion prevention).
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, etc.).
Threat analysis and remediation processes.
Familiarity with physical security measures and integration with IT security.
Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks.
Understanding of DevSecOps principles and their application to secure software development.
Experience in developing and maintaining security awareness programs for employees.

Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build consensus for security strategies.
Track record of handling high‑pressure situations with composure and effective decision‑making.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, IT security or a related field.
Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is a plus.
