JobSummary: TheSenior Accountant will manage general ledger (GL) accounting underMexican GAAP. This role will lead closing processes, reconcileaccounts, and ensure compliance with local accounting standardswhile collaborating closely with the U.S. finance team oncross-border accounting, audits, and reporting. WhatYou’ll Do: Overseeand manage general ledger (GL) accounting for our Mexicanentity, ensuring compliance with Mexico GAAP and groupaccounting policies.

Prepareand post journal entries. Leadmonthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, includingpreparation of supporting schedules in line with companydeadlines. Reconcilebalance sheet and P&L; accounts, ensuring accuracy andtimely resolution of discrepancies.





Supportthe preparation of financial statements in collaboration withtax advisers and act as the primary contact for audits. Collaborateclosely with the U.S. and Europe finance teams, to supportcross-border accounting activities, reporting needs, andcoordination. Ensurecompliance with all statutory tax filings, reportingrequirements, and internal controls for Mexico.

Identify,recommend, and drive process improvements and automationinitiatives within the GL function.

Coordinatewith Accounts

Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax advisorsto maintain complete and accurate financial records. Performother tasks and responsibilities as needed Requirements MinimumQualifications (knowledge, skills, andabilities): Minimum5–7 years of experience in accounting, including severalyears in general ledger responsibilities. Strongknowledge of Mexican GAAP (NIF); Proficientin ERP systems (Microsoft Navision experience preferred)and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).

Well-organized,detail-oriented, and proactive, with strongproblem-solving skills. Strongcommunication skills in Spanish and English, written and spoken. Abilityto work independently while collaborating across timezones Niceto Have: SOXfamiliarity and other compliance and process controls.

Experiencewith US GAAP is an advantage. Experienceworking for a US-based company or in a multinationalenvironment.
