Senior Engineer for Low Voltage and Auxiliary Systems (m/f/x)
Your Tasks
Responsibility for the LV and auxiliary systems of an Offshore Substation
Development of specifications for EPC tenders and negotiate these with suppliers
Review of Contractor’s design documents against applicable codes & standards, Employer’s Requirements and industry practice
Contribution to the development of offshore platform concept designs and FEED studies
Coordination of interfaces to other systems such as SCADA and collaboration with other discipline engineers in the package and the on-site team during fabrication and commissioning
Identification and mitigation of technical risks during construction, installation, commissioning and O&M; phases
Participation in audits and workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, cost optimisations and value engineering
Ensure compliance with HSE, QA and permitting requirements for the respective systems
Your Profile
Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
Minimum five years of relevant professional experience from energy infrastructure projects (preferably offshore-related from wind or oil and gas) in low voltage and auxiliary and safety systems such as HVAC, fire alarm and fire fighting, PAGA, cranes, etc.
Good knowledge of the applicable international codes & standards such as DNV and IEC code families but also NFPA, SOLAS,
More than 7 years of relevant professional experience
Fluency in English, both written and oral
Willingness to undertake regular trips to the project countries
Valid work permit for Spain
