BungE has an opening for a

Senior Indirect Tax Specialist in its Barcelona Indirect Tax Team. The role focuses on ensuring the operational excellence of the VAT Compliance Team, managing administrative obligations and data within the regional finance organization.

Responsibilities

Execute daily administrative tasks related to VAT and Intrastat reporting, including data extraction, formatting, and submission.

Maintain accurate databases and efficient administrative workflows to support a continuous improvement mindset.

Support internal controls by ensuring proper archiving of tax returns and documentation for internal and external audits.

Assist in the preparation of periodic tax declarations and handle notifications from tax authorities.

Qualifications

Vocational training (FP)



or bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.

Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.

Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced Excel, for data handling.

Experience with SAP is highly valued and strongly preferred.

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Persistent, resilient, loyal, and a team player.
