Senior Sourcing Manager in Sant Cugat, Spain. You will orchestrate supply networks that make life‑saving diagnostics possible, lead end‑to‑end sourcing projects, mentor a team of sourcing managers, and advise executive leadership.

Team

Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) is a team of roughly 200 professionals driving value with suppliers worldwide. We source, manage the supplier base, develop and execute category strategies, and digitize processes to support sustainable business growth.

Job Details Reporting Line: The position directly reports to the Sourcing Lead and is part of the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE).

Wider team and stakeholders: Part of a regional team of Senior Sourcing Managers and Sourcing Managers, managing relationships with DOP stakeholders and external suppliers/contract manufacturers.

Role Type: Individual Contributor, responsible for mentoring junior team members.

Impact: Performance &

- Savings: Driving key metrics—including PPV savings, preferred supplier share, and shortened cycle times—to deliver bottom‑line value while tracking stakeholder satisfaction. Sourcing &
- Analysis: Executing global sourcing activities, standard processes (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs), and NPI benchmarking in collaboration with Category and NPI managers. Contract &
- Document Management: Setting up and reviewing high‑complexity contracts (e.g., MSAs) and purchasing documentation, managing lifecycle repository and renewals.

Excellence &

- SME Leadership: Acting as SME to simplify workflows, analyze site user requirements for best‑value methods, and ensure strict compliance with global policies.

Bottleneck

Resolution &

- CSR: Partnering with support functions such as Accounts Payable to clear supplier‑related administrative bottlenecks and champion supply base CSR initiatives (diversity, sustainability, ethical practices).



Conflict &
- Exposure: Managing high‑stakes conflicts regarding competing project priorities or supplier selections, delivering high‑frequency monthly/quarterly updates to the CoE LT and DPLT. Qualifications Education: A university degree (Business or Life Sciences preferred)

- MBA or equivalent and professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, ISM) desirable.

Experience: 5‑7+ years of experience in sourcing and end‑to‑end contract management, proven track record of cost‑reduction initiatives and value‑improvement programs.

Market Expertise: In‑depth knowledge of the global supplier landscape and sourcing expertise with deep, hands‑on knowledge of complex procurement categories (Active Diagnostic Ingredients, Reagents, Biologics &

- Chemicals, Analytical hardware components, semiconductors, electromechanical components, sheet metal, IT hardware, engineering services, capex, logistics). AI &
- Digitalization: Advanced knowledge in AI application and a strong affinity to explore AI‑driven solutions, particularly for digital transformation of operations. Systems &
- Analytics: Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP data), Procure‑to‑Pay workflows, eSourcing/eAuction platforms, and BI tools like Tableau and ThoughtSpot. Mindset &
- Soft Skills: Highly analytical problem‑solver focused on translating complex business requirements into procurement specifications; strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills. Mentorship &
- Integral Leadership: Proven success managing project teams and mentoring junior colleagues across multiple remote locations with high cultural intelligence.

Languages: Business‑level fluency in English required
