Senior Staff Analog/Mixed‑Signal Engineer (Research & Development Team)
Responsibilities
Lead the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal architectures and circuits that meet block- and IC-level specifications, including design for manufacturability, yield, test, and reliability.
Own key technical decisions from architecture through silicon bring‑up, working closely with analog, layout, and digital design teams.
Perform detailed modeling, design, and simulation of analog circuits in collaboration with analog, layout, and digital design team members.
Prepare materials for design reviews and maintain clear internal design and simulation documentation.
Support lab and test engineers during measurement and validation of developed analog blocks, including post-silicon debug and performance optimization.
Contribute to the generation of new IP and support patent disclosures and filings.
Mention junior engineers by sharing knowledge, providing technical guidance,
and supporting project work.
Qualifications
PhD, Master’s, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics, with an emphasis on analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design (or similar).
7+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
Experience designing some of the following blocks: ADCs, DACs, AFEs.
Experience with an AFE+ADC subsystem is a plus.
Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design.
Strong knowledge of Cadence EDA tools and circuit simulation; working knowledge of MATLAB or Python for behavioral/block-level modeling is a plus.
