We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our Platform As A Service team in Barcelona (Hybrid) to play a key role in shaping the direction of the platform, driving technical initiatives, challenging existing approaches and helping other engineers grow through collaboration and guidance. You will be part of a team of experienced engineers building and operating the foundations that enable our product teams to move fast and safely in production, using modern infrastructure tooling, strong engineering practices and a clear focus on developer experience. What you will do: The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Design, build and operate platform capabilities used by multiple teams across the company

Drive improvements in developer experience by providing scalable self service workflows, reusable patterns and clear abstractions

Work with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps workflows across the full lifecycle: design, implementation, testing and operation

Contribute to the evolution of our Kubernetes based platforms, including multi cluster and multi region setups

Design and operate the service mesh layer, based on Istio, including multi cluster service mesh capabilities

Work on edge related capabilities as part of the platform, contributing to how requests are handled and secured at scale

Contribute to emerging platform capabilities around AI infrastructure, self hosted LLMs, inference workloads, MCP compatible ecosystems and agentic workflows

Help evaluate and shape how modern AI tooling and platform patterns can be integrated in a scalable, reliable and sustainable way

Lead technically complex initiatives, helping teams navigate ambiguity and make sustainable engineering decisions

Challenge existing practices and identify opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, security and operational efficiency

Help reduce cognitive load for stakeholders by automating common tasks and standardising platform capabilities

Collaborate closely with engineers from different areas, helping align platform capabilities with broader engineering needs

Guide and mentor other engineers through technical discussions, reviews and day to day collaboration





Take ownership of problems end to end, from early design discussions to production operation

You will work on strategic and high impact topics, helping define how our production platforms evolve over time while balancing reliability, scalability and developer experience.

TLDR: Tech stack GCP, Kubernetes, Istio, Crossplane, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Terraform, Kyverno, Git, Docker, Helm, Cloudflare, AI/LLM infrastructure and much more. (experience with all of them is not required; we value strong fundamentals, engineering mindset and ability to learn and adapt)

What you need to succeed

Strong experience working with cloud infrastructure and containerised environments

Solid understanding of Linux, networking and distributed systems

Experience designing and operating production systems at scale

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, GitOps workflows and platform engineering concepts

Ability to reason about complex systems and debug production issues methodically

Ability to balance pragmatism and engineering quality when making technical decisions

Proactive and collaborative mindset, comfortable driving initiatives and aligning with different stakeholders

Ownership attitude: you care about the quality, scalability and reliability of what you ship

Ability to mentor and support other engineers through technical leadership and collaboration

Curiosity and interest in emerging areas such as AI infrastructure, LLM platforms, MCP ecosystems and agentic workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.

Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows.

AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development processes,



and enhance productivity.

Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.

Collaboration with AI: Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as “pair programmers” to complement traditional software development practices.
