Site Supervisor General Description The Site Supervisor prepares and oversees on‑site installation and logistics activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
Key responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, managing teams, and supervising contractors. This role promotes a strong culture of safety and quality leadership while ensuring adherence to schedules and process maps. As seniority increases, the complexity of tasks, autonomy, and leadership responsibilities also grow.
Description Functions
Responsible for on‑site installation activities on regular projects or parts of larger projects Participate in and prepare the project installation plan Logistically organize equipment on site Organize proper unloading and site logistics Instruct the installation team on project requirements Delegate installation responsibility to suppliers/partners Prepare for start‑up of the equipment installation Provide feedback on progress and status Perform quality checks on installation and processes Create and support a high‑quality handover to commissioning Support commissioning during the testing phase Organize all site‑related activities until handover to customer Ensure health and safety requirements Create a safe working environment during installation phases Monitor and manage project costs, ensure budget compliance, validate expenses, and report variances to maintain profitability Relevant Technical Aspects Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or intermediate/higher studies in industrial mechatronics, electronics, electricity, or mechanics Profile Requirements Must have the required training or ability certificate and be able to present it No criminal or police record due to the location of the project Knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience in team management Leadership skills Excellent communication and motivational skills Dynamic problem solver Strong analytical skills Take initiative, work autonomously Delegation skills Customer orientation Cooperating Flexibility Planning and organization Stress resistance Safety awareness Ability to work within an international work environment, especially within a project organization International and multicultural awareness Level / Years of Experience 2 years’ experience Travel Requirements Willingness to travel on site (90%) Other Requirements Driving license Languages Spanish native or advanced level Fluent English (minimum B2 level) Knowledge of other languages such as French, Italian, and German will be an asset
