At HP SCDS, we continue growing and are looking for a Software Engineer (Android) to join our A3 team in León. We are seeking someone with experience in Android development who wants to work in an R&D; environment with full product ownership and the opportunity to contribute to solutions used by general customers. You will join a collaborative, agile team focused on continuous learning, where you can make an impact from day one.

What will you do?

Develop and maintain Android software solutions for A3 printers

Collaborate with the team to implement new features and improve existing ones

Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in team dynamics

Contribute to applications used worldwide by major companies

Apply best practices in development: code quality, architecture, and testing

Integrate services using REST, JSON, and SOAP

Work closely with your teammates, sharing ownership of the product

What are we looking for?

2+ years of experience in software development

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience in native Android development (Java or Kotlin)

Knowledge of UI development

Experience integrating services (REST, JSON, SOAP)





Understanding of Android architecture and design patterns

Experience with testing (especially unit testing)

Knowledge of version control tools (Git)

Experience using Jira is a plus

Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Interest in software architecture and systems integration

Nice to have: knowledge of Angular and NodeJS

English level B2 or higher, enabling collaboration in international environments

Proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
