M&A; Associate - Software - Madrid (Hybrid) Our client acquires and operates mission-critical software businesses across a range of industries. As the business continues its acquisition strategy, they are looking to bring an M&A; Associate on board to support. You’ll work closely with the leadership team on all stages of the acquisition process, gaining more exposure to the cycle as time progresses, enabling you to take more responsibility.

What You’ll Do: Support origination and market mapping, identifying and screening potential acquisition targets across target sectors. Build and maintain relationships with business owners throughout the origination process Assist with due diligence workstreams (financial, commercial, and operational) Prepare investment papers and board materials support post‑acquisition planning alongside the wider team What We’re Looking For: Internship experience in Transaction Services, M&A;, or Investment Banking Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving at pace Sharp analytical mindset and strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills
