Main Responsibilities
End-to-End Manufacturing Process Expertise
Define and validate end-to-end manufacturing processes, including:
Production execution, tank, packaging, labeling, and inventory updates
Warehouse flows (receiving, put‑away, picking, shipping)
Traceability across materials, batches, and handling units
Ensure processes reflect real operational practices, including:
Manual interventions
Exceptions (rework, scrap, damaged products)
MES / MOM Functional Leadership
Translate operational needs into clear, implementable functional requirements
Support definition of capabilities such as:
Real-time production tracking (WIP, scrap, rework)
Tank production and inventory
Packaging and labeling execution
Inventory synchronization and genealogy
Ensure alignment and integration with:
ERP systems (SAP)
Loading / shipping / receiving
Quality systems (LIMS)
WMS
Shopfloor systems (SCADA/PLC)
S&OP; Alignment and Feasibility
Bridge planning and execution by ensuring:
Production plans are feasible and aligned with plant constraints
Supply chain decisions reflect real operational capabilities
Support the S&OP; cycle:
Demand review – Supply review – Reconciliation – Management Business Review
Plant Engagement & Validation
Work closely with plant teams to:
Validate process designs on-site
Identify gaps between "standard processes" and real execution
Adapt solutions to varying plant maturity levels and automation capabilities
Standardization with Flexibility
Contribute to defining
Global process templates
Controlled plant-level adaptations
Ensure solutions are
Scalable across plants
Adapted to local operational realities
Vendor & Solution Evaluation
Participate in vendor selection and solution design:
RFI/RFP processes
Functional validation workshops
Technical demos and fit‑for‑purpose assessments
Qualifications & Skills
5–10+ years of hands‑on manufacturing experience, ideally in production/plant operations, packaging, or inventory-intensive environments
Proven exposure to manufacturing processes and shop‑floor operations and interaction with MES/MOM or related systems
Experience in multi‑plant or general environments with high variability
Knowledge of MES and ERP (SAP) integration, traceability and inventory management processes
Ideally background in mining, materials, chemicals, or process manufacturing industries
Key Competencies
Strong process-oriented thinking (not system-driven)
Ability to translate best practices into practical solutions
Understanding of end-to-end manufacturing data flows (ERP MES LIMS shopfloor)
Excellent stakeholder collaboration across operations, supply chain, IT, and business teams
