A leading FMCG business has recently transformed their global procurement function and is seeking a strong digital procurement professional to join their Procurement Excellence function centred in Barcelona. The primary mission of the role is to own the AI pathway for procurement, own the digital procurement roadmap, and implement SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract solutions.

This is a key procurement vacancy in the context of ongoing transformation activity and is critical to deliver the broader excellence goals of the procurement function; namely across tools, systems, and building cross-functional relationships with IT, Technology and other business stakeholders.

You will own the design and delivery of the digital roadmap and lead on all process improvement in the Source to Pay/Source to Contract area. This role is adecuado for a management consultant looking to move into industry, or someone currently working in Procurement Excellence/Digital Transformation who has overseen the implementation of S2P/S2C solutions.

Role responsibilities





- As owner of the global S2C process, drive improvement across processes and tools and lead across implementations, risk management, supplier due-diligence and supplier relationships.
- Analyse systems and processes, drive reporting and S2P KPI tracking.
- Drive the adoption of AI and other procurement technologies across the business to facilitate long-term, positive change.
- Management Consulting in digital procurement, or Procurement Excellence in-house experience is essential.
- Strong implementation expertise within S2C (Ariba tools), in both business applications and process flows.
- Experience working in international businesses with complex stakeholder structures preferred.
- Strong project management experience and the ability to influence at senior levels (CxO).
- Fluency in English is essential, Spanish is an advantage.
