About the Role
Help build the platform that connects Factorial to the broader software ecosystem, establishing a strong engineering foundation today and integrating AI into future workflows. The Team The Engineering team, consisting of 200+ Product Engineers, builds a Business Management solution. The API & Integrations team operates between product and platform, managing the public API, integration framework, and developer experience. Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end development of the public API and integrations framework, from problem definition and system design to shipping, monitoring, and iteration in production. Collaborate closely with Product and Design to shape APIs and frameworks that meet real user needs. Ensure consistent user and integration experience across verticals, aligned with Factorial’s design system.
Participate in customer calls, reviews, and feedback sessions to understand workflows and pain points. Mentor peers, document learnings, and contribute to engineering best practices. Define and drive AI initiatives related to the YepCode acquisition, including skill‑based agents, evaluation frameworks, RAG, and agentic workflows.
Qualifications
Development maturity: produce solid, well‑tested, production‑grade code and own systems end‑to‑end.
Proven impact: demonstrated projects or contributions that produced measurable results. Product‑first thinking: design end‑to‑end experiences,
not isolated components.
Speed and adaptability: experiment, learn, and iterate quickly.
Abstraction mindset: experience working with legacy/monolithic systems and building reusable frameworks for multiple teams.
Optional bonus: experience with LLMs, skill‑based agents, or AI protocols.
Technical
Foundation (Preferred)
Strong software engineering fundamentals in any language, backend, frontend, or both. Shipping real products to production. Knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms, and system design. Fast learning of new tools and technologies. Experience with legacy/monolithic systems and evolving internal frameworks. How We Work
