Responsibilities
AI is reshaping how property managers run their businesses — and how we build product
We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead cross-domain AI and strategic product initiatives, working hand-in-hand with our AI product leadership, and to raise the bar on how our product organization itself builds with AI
This is a builder’s role, not an orchestrator’s: you’ll ship AI-powered product experiences, prototype with the latest models and agent frameworks yourself, and drive cross-domain initiatives that no single team owns
Lead cross-domain AI and strategic product initiatives: Drive Guesty’s most impactful AI projects end-to-end — initiatives that span multiple product domains and dev teams — and make sure nothing falls between the cracks
Co-shape the AI product strategy: Partner closely with the product leaders driving Guesty’s AI strategy — contribute to where we place our bets, and own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes of the initiatives in your scope, tied to company-level goals
Build, not just spec: Prototype with AI hands‑on — build agents, workflows, and internal tools that lift your own velocity and that of PMs across the product organization
Drive AI adoption inside the product department: Identify where AI can remove friction in how our PMs discover, spec, analyze, and ship — and build or champion the internal solutions that get us there
Be a trusted voice on AI product judgment: A go‑to partner for PMs and leadership on AI product questions within your initiatives; review specs and strategy for AI work and help set the quality bar
Hold the data line: Set the expectation that AI bets are backed by data, define the metrics that matter across domains, and challenge calls that aren’t grounded in evidence
Read the market:
Track where AI technology and the hospitality industry are heading, and reshape our product direction around it before it’s obvious
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory)
Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives end-to-end — from shaping which problems matter, through stakeholder alignment, to accountable delivery of outcomes
Excellent product craft and data fluency: discovery, specs, metrics definition and interpretation against business goals — and the judgment to know when a demo is a product and when it isn’t
Executive presence: Demonstrated experience aligning executive management and communicating complex, ambiguous topics clearly
AI-native, hype-resistant judgment: You understand the difference between a RAG pipeline and an agentic loop, you think about reliability, latency, and cost — not just model brilliance — and you prefer building things that actually work over things that just look cool in a demo
Hands‑on AI building experience: You’ve shipped AI-powered product features to production and you build with LLMs yourself — prompting, evals, agent frameworks, and rapid prototyping are part of your daily toolkit, not something you delegate. You don’t wait for a system to exist before creating one
8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years focused on AI/LLM-powered products, and a track record of leading large cross-domain, cross-team initiatives through influence rather than authority
Experience mentoring PMs and reviewing their work — you raise the bar around you
Experience in B2B SaaS platforms, marketplaces, or the hospitality/travel tech space
Experience driving internal AI adoption or AI enablement programs within a product or R&D; organization
