Analog Devices is hiring a Staff Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer for the Hearables and Wearables Consumer Business Unit. The role involves analysis, research, design, simulation, characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, ultra-low power integrated circuits.
Responsibilities
Lead the architectural definition and design of complex mixed-signal ICs from concept through production release
Participate in design optimization for power, performance, and area, and ensure compliance with rigorous quality standards.
Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions and deliver successful products to market.
Work with digital design and design verification teams on block and system integration and verification at the chip level
Assess and resolve complex integrated circuit issues in the laboratory
Coordinate with product definition, applications, and test engineering to define requirements and oversee the transition of new products from concept to production release
Education and Experience Requirements
M.S. in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years CMOS IC design experience
Strong understanding of ADC/DAC architectures and specifications and/or deep understanding of power management converter architectures including linear and switching regulators
Successful experience developing challenging mixed-signal integrated circuits for commercial applications
Excellent written/verbal communication; strong cross-team collaboration
Manage layout and post-layout simulations
Team and project leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Audio ADC/DAC/amplifier design
Power management IC design background
Proficient in Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation
Skilled with MATLAB or similar modeling tools
Knowledgeable in digital signal processing concepts
Analog/digital behavioural modelling expertise
