Vertex Tax Consultant

Work Location: REMOTE WORKING from Spain/Poland

Requirements: Role – Vertex Tax Consultant with 5-10 years of experience

Preferred shift – Europe time zone.

The candidate would focus on the implementation of Vertex in the european countries.

Would support hypercare of countries that went live with R3.5, integrated screening, UAT for the next release, conceptual design (Transaction Flow matrix mapping), defect analysis and resolution.

JD:

- Experience with VAT compliance, VAT returns in Europe
- Indirect tax calculations
- Configure and implement vertex integrated with SAP systems
- Design and support all indirect tax processes like VAT, Sales and Use tax for Europe countries
- Coordinate SIT, UAT
- Trouble shoot indirect tax calculations and compliance issues

Skill set:

- European VAT and indirect tax knowledge
- Strong experience in Vertex implementation across european countries
- Experience with SAP DRC for Tax reporting would be a plus
- Experience in pharma or life sciences industry is an advantage
