Your Tasks
You create test specifications and implement test automation routines according to specific requirements
You plan and organize testing activities
You update vehicles and prototypes and adapt HiL testing environments
You perform testing activities in vehicles, prototypes and HiL systems including fault analysis and the creation of test reports
You analyze and handle complex processes and mechatronic systems
You develop model based solution approaches using both classical and new methods
You develop new control engineering concepts related to physical problems
You translate these concepts into series ready algorithms suitable for control units
You review detailed software designs
You create software code in C or model based software code
You execute functional software tests
You review software code or model based code implementations
Necessary Skills
Master’s or doctorate in controls, electronics, mechatronics, information technology or a related field
Demonstrates a well structured and strongly target oriented approach combined with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Possesses a solid understanding of signal conditioning and processing
Shows proficiency in programming and familiarity with various programming languages
Able to independently coordinate tasks while maintaining close collaboration with diverse teams across IAV
Desired Skills
Knowledge of, or practical experience with following tools: Confluence, JIRA, CANOE, Diagnostic- and Test-Management-Tools, TargetLink
Basic understanding of SW testing processes, methodologies and HIL systems
Basic knowledge of vehicle architectures/vehicle network and systems engineering
Basic knowledge about embedded software testing (black box, regression...)
