As a Lead Workplace Engineer, you will co‑lead the strategy, adoption, and delivery of intelligent Digital Workplace capabilities — with a spotlight on Microsoft 365, Workplace AI assistants, agents and automation. Your work will directly shape the modern, best‑in‑class digital experience for our global workforce, driving measurable business value while ensuring services are delivered in line with security, compliance, regulatory, and governance requirements.

Drive platform evolution by identifying, evaluating, and deploying new Microsoft 365 and AI‑augmented capabilities, processes, and solutions aligned with business requirements Lead design and implementation of Microsoft 365 capabilities, as well as security, governance and compliance controls, translating internal risk policies into technical measures and operating procedures Monitor and respond to fast-paced developments in the Digital Workplace space, maintaining active engagement with vendors and internal stakeholders Hands‑on implementation with Microsoft 365, Azure workloads and modern scripting and development platforms Leverage data platforms such as MS Power Platform and Palantir Foundry to drive data‑informed workplace decisions and visualisations Continuously upskill, improve controls and procedures, and actively share knowledge across teams to foster a culture of learning and innovation We in Digital Workplace (DWP) set out to make it easy for more than 14,000 employees to seamlessly connect with people, ideas, and expertise - within and beyond Swiss Re.



Our team is built around Microsoft 365, Workplace AI solutions, and related services — spanning design, architecture, development, integration, and orchestration across teams and internal partners. DWP is an early adopter of agile methodologies and agile leadership within Swiss Re - and we're proud of it.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 digital workplace platform and related services, including security, governance and compliance capabilities Advanced automation and scripting capabilities including experience with modern DevOps technologies and CI/CD methodologies Good working knowledge of data analytics and visualisation, including hands‑on experience with tools such as MS Power Platform and Palantir Foundry Good working knowledge of Azure Cloud, Networking, Identity and Access Management, as well as provisioning, authorisation, and authentication concepts Fluent English with excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation and beyond Experience working in a integral enterprise environment, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector Experience working in agile SCRUM methodology Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least 50% of the time. For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 60,000 and EUR 100,000 for a full‑time role. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance‑based annual bonus.
