Offer Description Mission

Support research to improve the management of renewable energies.

Functions to be developed

Develop machine learning algorithms.

Implement and validate computational models.

Plan networks with high penetration of renewables taking into account their energy efficiency (Sustainable Computing).

Analyze and interpret results.

Write technical reports and participate in scientific publications.

Experience in functions similar to those described will be valued, specifically in the development of research activities, both in the university and industrial environment.

Eligibility and Selection Eligibility criteria

All candidates must prove the required academic degree. CVs will be assessed according to the following criteria:

Maximum score for candidates who meet all eligibility criteria: 10 points

Threshold: 5 points

Distribution of the maximum 10 points:

1 point for required speciality

2 points for required academic training





2 points for technical competences

1 point for organizational competences

3 points for professional experience

1 point for any aspect of the candidate’s professional profile deemed specially relevant by the Selection Committee

If the selection committee includes a personal interview, only candidates scoring 5 or above for their CV will be considered for the interview step.

The interview will be assessed on the following criteria:

Threshold: 3 points

Distribution for the maximum score:

2 points for adequacy to functional competences of the job

2 points for adequacy of professional experience

1 point for any aspect deemed especially relevant by the Selection Committee The eligible candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest score according to the selection criteria.

Selection process The members of the selection committee will decide the selection process for each case (e.g., CV review, interviews, tests).
