Job Description About the role The IT Business Partner – Sales is the key interface between Sales and IT at Oetiker.
The role ensures that sales processes, systems and integrations reliably support business growth, operational efficiency and governance across a general industrial environment.
This position combines strong SAP SD knowledge , integration awareness (EDI) and IT leadership with a deep understanding of sales and commercial processes.
Act as IT Business Partner for Sales-related functions, serving as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the senior/medium business level.
Translate business requirements into clear IT solutions and delivery roadmaps.
Own and continuously improve Sales IT services, with focus on SAP SD.
Align global IT standards with local and regional business needs.
Manage demand intake, prioritization and execution for Sales initiatives.




Coordinate internal IT teams and external vendors.
Ensure system stability, scalability and compliance with IT governance.
Drive continuous improvement of Order‑to‑Cash processes.
Support Sales digitalization and automation initiatives.
Act as escalation point for critical Sales-related incidents.
SAP SD (O2C, Master Data, Pricing, Billing, Scheduling agreements, integration with other SAP modules and with other Oetiker technologies)
8–15 years of experience in IT roles supporting Sales or Commercial functions.
~ Proven background as IT Business Partner, IT Manager or Senior SAP SD Consultant.
~ Solid, hands‑on knowledge of SAP SD (S/4HANA preferred).
~ Advanced English skills are mandatory, further languages are a plus.

Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals (incident, problem, change management).
Experience in IT project management (waterfall and/or agile).
