Job Description
Based in Illescas, you will collaborate closely with Airbus Commercial ME Surface Protection & Painting teams to develop and integrate surface protection solutions tailored to future aircraft architectures. Your role, co‑designed with the Design Office and Method teams, will ensure the durability and performance of the next generation of aircraft. As a leader within a Multi‑Functional Team, you will act as the primary interface between various programs, Engineering, Procurement, and the Supply Chain, driving process improvement to support production ramp‑up and increased cadence of surface protection and painting activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical support for elementary parts and optimize the A350 fuselage production processes.
- Ensure successful execution of projects by coordinating with different stakeholders.
- Capture field requirements and translate them into process improvements.
- Support the integration of surface protection solutions in a production environment.
- Engage with all sites as required, traveling based on specific projects.





Qualifications
- Proven expertise in surface protection within the aerospace industry, with strong interest in shop‑floor production environments and process industrialization.
- Technical knowledge of surface protection (treatments, painting, sealants).
- Knowledge of composite materials and their interaction with surface protection is a major plus.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a Multi‑Functional Team.
- Competencies in Chemistry are a plus.
- Knowledge of the Airbus ecosystem is a plus.

Education
Degree from an Engineering School or University in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Aeronautics.
Contract
Permanent, Professional level within Materials & Processes family.
