We are expanding our services in our Policy in Action (PIA) practice. To promote this growth, we are looking for a Programme Finance Analyst to join our team, working on the implementation of large European and UK contracts.
As a Programme Finance Analyst you will assist with a variety of aspects of project financial management. You will work across a range of projects. This is a varied role covering many elements of Project Finance, including input to and maintenance of administrative systems and files; monitoring and reconciling project costs; and coordination with Finance / Accounts and Procurement colleagues, as well as external subcontractors and suppliers.
You will need to be highly organised, with a conscientious approach and great attention to detail.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, including the confidence and professionalism to liaise with external parties. As a team player, you will be responsive, adaptable and quick to learn. Overall, you must be able to plan, prioritise and manage your workload effectively, with increasing autonomy over time.
Main Responsibilities:
Project Financial Review – provide monthly/quarterly updates to Project managers of financial performance for a range of projects and programmes.
Project Financial Administration - accurately updating various databases and spreadsheets with budgetary commitments and invoices, reconciliations, regularly checking and monitoring financial transactions to spreadsheets.
Project Evaluations – manipulating the data sets of completed projects in MS Power BI for evaluation and future pricing purposes.
